Donations Still Matter
Individual giving remains the base of most nonprofit budgets. The question is not whether to ask, it is whether anything happens between asks. A donation is the start of a relationship, not the end of one.

Six funding paths
Individual giving remains the base of most nonprofit budgets. The question is not whether to ask, it is whether anything happens between asks. A donation is the start of a relationship, not the end of one.
Grants are competitive, slow and restricted. They are worth pursuing when they fit, but an organization whose entire plan depends on one grant cycle is exposed to a decision it does not control.
Most organizations already have more supporters than they realize. They just have no system to stay in contact. Capturing contacts and sending consistent, useful follow-up is usually the fastest funding improvement available.
A good partnership creates value in both directions. Businesses in your community need to reduce costs, improve technology, find funding and grow. A nonprofit that helps with something real earns a very different conversation.
A funnel is simply a clear path: someone lands on a focused page, understands the specific need, takes one action and receives immediate confirmation and follow-up. Generic donate buttons on generic pages rarely convert.
Consistency is a systems problem, not a willpower problem. A CRM with automated email and SMS sequences means the fifth follow-up happens even in your busiest month.
Where an applicable OfferGRID opportunity includes referral compensation, participating nonprofits may be able to generate additional support according to that offer's terms. Not every opportunity works this way, and no specific amount is promised.
People give again when they know what happened. Specific outcomes reported back to supporters do more for renewal than any additional appeal.
Stop relying on a single ask. Two or three well-run funding paths, each with a system underneath, is more stable than one path run harder.
ImpactGRID does not promise any organization a specific funding amount.
